Simone Lanzi, born in '93 in Trieste, starts to play the double bass in 2012.
In 2013 he starts the Jazz Bachelor Conservatory with M° Maier and in the 2016 he also starts the Classical Bachelor Conservatory with M° Sciascia. In 2018 he finishes the Jazz Bachelor with 104 on 110 and in 2022 he finishes the Classical Bachelor with 109 on 110.
He is now privately teaching and cooperating with the following projects: Emanuele Grafitti Trio (world music, crossover flamenco), Tsikàrim (Rebetiko) , Nur (middle eastern music) and many more.
He recorded: Brazos-Black Suit Trio EP 1 e 2; Mingus' Grooves; Edgar Meis; Eastern Border Ensemble; TILT; Misa A Buenos Aires-Martin Palmeri.

Esperienza
Dal 2012 suono dal vivo, spaziando il mio repertorio a qualsiasi genere, dalla musica classica, al jazz e a varie musiche tradizionali come la musica balcanica, greca e anche turca. Mi sono specializzato al Conservatorio di Trieste in musica classica e jazz, ma a fianco o anche sempre suonato Pop e Rock'n'Roll con entrambi il basso elettrico e il contrabbasso (che è il mio primo strumento). Continuo a performare in moltissimi progetti che vanno dall'R'n'B e Nu-Soul al Jazz più puro di Charlie Parker, affinando il mio repertorio solista per due contrabbassi improntato sulla Musica Medio-Orientale.
